Epicor Quick Ship, available in the Cloud, incorporates the Epicor Kinetic Design and Framework in a new web application.
This solution helps you process shipping transactions quickly and efficiently. When an order is pulled into the Customer Shipment Entry screen, Quick Ship contacts the selected carrier via the web API and retrieves all the appropriate information, including freight charges, tracking information, and package dimensions. That information automatically appears in your ERP system, preventing the need for manual entry. Quick Ship then prints the carrier label and any additional paperwork required for the shipment.
Quick Ship offers Rate Shopping at time of quote, order, or shipment to keep shipping costs low for your customers and to drive new loyalty for your business. Closing the loop, the calculated freight automatically flows back to Epicor for automated invoicing of freight charges.
Included in Quick Ship is the Hazardous Materials Module, which is designed to recognize when an item being shipped requires HazMat documentation. The software stores HazMat classification data and completes the required paperwork. Integration with HazMat compliance software DGIS makes shipping these materials as easy as non-regulated shipping and saves on fines / returned shipments.
