Microsoft Teams Upgrades Calling, PowerPoint and Webinar Features
Microsoft Teams new Calling layout has made its way to the desktop app, and users are ready for the long-awaited changes. The new layout features call history, speed dial and other features you’d want upon startup in a design that slots every item right where you need it.
Microsoft Teams Calling allows users to make and receive calls in Microsoft Teams. Making and receive calls to and from landlines and mobile phones on the public switch telephone network in Teams is available with an add-on like Microsoft 365 Business Voice or is included in Microsoft 365 E5.
These options provide a cloud-based phone system in Teams with features like hold, blind and safe transfers, and reporting features for professionals who manage calling solutions.
Also, Microsoft Teams is receiving interactive webinar support for up to 1,000 people (for now) along with PowerPoint Live. On the horizon, Microsoft Teams will soon make it easier to bring people from external organizations into group chats, as well.
If you need help to manage these settings or want to learn more about Microsoft 365 or Microsoft Teams, give 2W Tech a call today. We are a technology service provider specializing in solutions for the manufacturing industry, as well as a Microsoft Gold Partner.
