Gartner’s New Cloud 2019 Critical Capabilities Cloud ERP Report
The shift from traditional to on-premise systems to cloud-based ERP continues to move at a rapid pace. Organizations are taking advantage of new capabilities to improve their business and optimization processes. Recently, Gartner published a new cloud ERP report, “2019 Critical Capabilities for Cloud ERP for Product-Centric Midsize Enterprises.” Adding more proof that they evolution of Cloud ERP hasn’t even seen its peak.
Gartner evaluated Epicor ERP as part of this report and stated “Epicor ERP has earned a reputation for being a flexible and highly capable product for small and midsize manufacturing companies (those with employees numbers ranging from 20 to more than 1,000).” Epicor ERP scored the highest in the ERP functionality for Midsize Enterprises Use Case, scoring a 3.77 out of 5. To date, Epicor has over 500 customers worldwide running their ERP solution in the cloud.
This Critical Capabilities report is aligned with the 2018 Magic Quadrant for Product-Centric Cloud ERP for Midsize Enterprises. This report positioned Epicor ERP as a Visionary and recognized their contributions to Cloud ERP over a year ago. The Critical Capabilities report also states “By 2021, 70% of all new midmarket cloud ERP application projects for product-centric enterprises will be public cloud implementation.”
