Communities in Microsoft Teams
Microsoft just introduced a new Microsoft Teams experience that enables people to come together, connect, share, and collaborate. Communities is currently rolling out in the free version of Microsoft Teams. Microsoft launched Communities as a way for the remote and hybrid work force to stay connected by encouraging human connection and community.
This new experience gives groups of all kinds a digital space to stay connected before, during, and after gatherings. Whether these gatherings are recreational in nature, event planning committee, parent-teacher association, or even for a small business.
With this new community experience, you will be able to:
- Easily post messages to everyone in the group
- Organize events and add them to the community calendar for everyone to see
- Share and store documents dedicated to group activity
- Filter content to quickly assess photos, videos, events, and links
Communities in Teams is available for all IOS and Android customers using the free version of Teams. It is also coming soon to desktop.
