At Build 2020, Microsoft announced several new updates to many of their popular apps and gave more news of what’s to come. One announcement that many are really excited for is the arrival of Microsoft Lists. Whether you are extremely organized already and are just excited to be able to manage that organization directly in Microsoft 365 or if you are more like me and have post-it notes that don’t make sense most the time scattered around your office, Microsoft Lists is sure to make all our lives a little easier.

Microsoft Lists is a new Microsoft 365 app that will help users track information and organize your work. Lists are simple, smart, and flexible, so you can stay on top of what matters most to your team without getting lost in the weeds of post-it notes or long memos. One of the cool features is that you can set up smart rules, alerts and customized views individually or across Teams. This allows everyone to be aware of issues, assets, routines, contacts, inventory and any other data that you may need to share across tasks.

With ready-made templates, you can quickly start lists online, using the app or directly from within Microsoft Teams, all while still receiving Microsoft’s enterprise-grade security and compliance.

Teams is Microsoft’s unified communication and collaboration platform and Lists is just another addition to help them dominate the market with this platform. The only bad news…..you have to wait until late summer for Lists to be rolled-out. But hey, good things come to those who wait!
