New Epicor Solutions Enhance Automotive Performance Metrics
Epicor has introduced new solutions aimed at enhancing performance metrics for automotive manufacturers, following its acquisition of Solenium Group and Visual SKUs, which was announced last month. These additions are designed to provide improved visibility into market demand and performance metrics within the automotive sector.
The newly acquired tools, Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM), are integrated into Epicor’s comprehensive aftermarket data solutions portfolio. Key features of these capabilities include:
- Epicor Brand Performance Analytic: This tool offers detailed insights into a brand’s performance within the Epicor catalog compared to competitors. It includes win/loss percentage statistics and generates graphs for key performance indicators (KPIs), such as comparing the winning brand’s average percentage against other brands.
- Epicor MarketPACE Unit Sales Analytic: This complements Epicor’s existing Net Dollar Sales analytics by enabling the tracking and analysis of unit sales metrics, rankings, and brand competitive trends. It assists users in comparing dollar sales with unit sales to evaluate the potential impact of inflation on parts performance.
- Epicor Demand Curve Analytic: This feature tracks parts demand by vehicle age over a five-year span across various part categories. It extends to the Epicor Catalog Coverage Monitor, helping users identify demand based on the vehicle’s manufacturing year.
- Integration of Epicor Catalog for Automotive in Epicor Vision: This integration allows more users to access the Epicor Catalog for Automotive within their existing workflows. The catalog is powered by Epicor’s aftermarket product content engine, featuring 12 million unique part numbers and over 1.6 billion catalog applications from more than 4,000 industry suppliers.
Tim Hardin, Senior Vice President of Global Automotive, Data, and Extend Services at Epicor, stated that the company’s latest innovations and investments equip the entire automotive aftermarket ecosystem—from manufacturers to distributors to service and repair shops—with new capabilities to make, market, move, and sell products more effectively and profitably.
These advancements will be displayed at AAPEX 2024 in Las Vegas, running from November 5th to November 7, 2024.
