Microsoft Launches New Data Analysis Tool Explore
Earlier this month, Microsoft introduced the public preview of the new Explore feature, which is integrated into Power BI. Explore was designed to provide users a lightweight and focused experience when exploring their data. Directly within Power BI, users can launch Explore quickly to begin creating a matrix/visual pair to find the answers they need from their data without the complexity of reports.
There are business cases where a user needs specific information but cannot find an existing report to address their needs. Typically, initiating a new report from scratch presents a significant obstacle, especially when sometimes you just need a quick answer. Power BI now enables users to swiftly access Explore, allowing them to promptly generate or visualize data to obtain the answers for which they were searching.

Keep in mind it is the first milestone of a much larger roadmap, which means Microsoft will change and improve the product during this period.
