- Sixty-eight percent of participants in NCA’s study reported installing the latest updates and software as soon as they are available.
- Of those who reported installing the latest updates to their devices in the NCA study, forty-five percent had turned on automatic updates. An additional twenty-one percent noted taking immediate action when they received a notification.
- Also, just twenty percent of Android devices use the latest and safest OS version, according to Symantec.
