Microsoft Teams has launched some previously announced features as part of a new offering called Advanced Communications. Communication systems across the world are evolving to support customers’ changing needs and Teams is leading the large. As many more of their users have finally become comfortable with the app, they are demanding more in ways of meetings and events and Microsoft has responded.

The new Advanced Communications capabilities include:

  • Scaling Teams meetings up to 20,000 participants with a limit to the size of interactive meetings to 1,000 participants, with a seamless shift to a ‘view only’ mode after the limit is met.
  • Enhanced Admin Control allows you to add company branding to meetings. It also allows you to connect with business applications to manage at scale and automate workflows. It also allows you to set up a compliance recording policy or bring in collaboration to your customer engagement workflows.

All of these features are included in the Advanced Communication plan, which can be added to any Microsoft 365 plan. You can also get Advanced Communications 60-day free trial via Teams Admin Center now. To learn more about Advanced Communication or Microsoft Teams, give 2W Tech a call today.
