Kinetic is the New Name for Epicor ERP
Epicor has announced the next version of Epicor ERP Cloud will be called Kinetic. There is a lot of hype around this major product update. Kinetic will become generally available sometime in June 2021. There is so many enhancements in this update, Epicor had to extend the testing period.
Some of the highlights of this new software include:
- Intuitive user experience: A brand new intuitive design of all your most-used screens and forms will now be accessible in a web browser. It will optimize for commonly used devices also.
- Expanded capabilities in Application Studio: New features will be available to personalize screens. Users will be able to access the information they need with ease, requiring little to no code.
- Improved help and support panel: The help and support panel will include familiar predictive type-ahead search results, and more ways to personalize your favorite topics.
Epicor cloud customers will have a schedule provided from Epicor. Pilot systems will be upgraded weeks prior to a go live date, allowing time for testing Unique Business Components in the new system, as well as allowing users a chance to acclimate to any changes.
