Microsoft Launches Viva Glint 360
Microsoft Viva Glint is a survey platform designed to enhance employee engagement and feedback within an organization. It provides leadership with insights into the overall health of the business. Viva Glint is available for purchase either as a standalone product or as part of the Viva suite.
Earlier this week, Microsoft announced the launch of Viva Glint 360. This tool provides leaders and employees with valuable insights that go beyond a single perspective, fostering increased self-awareness, enhanced performance, and opportunities for growth. Also known as multi-rater feedback, multi-source feedback, or multi-source assessments, 360s offer a comprehensive view for personal and professional development.
The new Glint 360 Feedback program enhances the entire process by simplifying the creation and management of feedback programs for HR teams, making it easier for raters to provide feedback, and helping employees understand and act on feedback results. With Viva Glint 360, HR can automate key tasks in the 360 process, saving time and enabling the creation of 360s for more employees within the organization.
Microsoft asserts that Viva Glint 360 is founded on a methodology supported by the latest organizational research and best practices. The Viva Glint team conducted a thorough examination of academic research, commercial 360 models, and organizational competency frameworks. Viva Glint 360 now includes an 18-item, ready-to-use 360 survey, along with 24 alternative items. Additionally, Viva Glint customers will have unlimited access to 360s, enabling them to run multiple 360 programs simultaneously.
Although Microsoft did not initially develop Glint, it became part of their offerings after LinkedIn, a Microsoft subsidiary, acquired Glint in 2018. A few years later, Microsoft integrated Glint into their Viva platform, creating a comprehensive survey solution for employee engagement.
